ROYAL AIR FORCE ATTACHMENT
During the last twelve months Godfrey has had attachments to the Royal Air Force, in order to be proficient in knowledge of how the RAF works, and where it works. This has involved study at Cranwell, hands on experience at flying schools, training at training establishments and secondment to Iraq and to Afghanistan.
People occasionally ask how it is that Godfrey can so often speak with authority. This is one of the many reasons.

The British public want a fair immigration system which helps those in genuine fear of persecution. They want Immigration Officers who can recognise the need for asylum. A recent report by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation showed that some of our failed asylum seekers are people who indeed should have asylum. For example the Iranian man who permitted the UK to repatriate him to Iran. A fortnight later his parents were invited to collect his body from a prison in Tehran. Still the immigration service wants to repatriate his brother! The open door provided by EU legislation that the UK parliament was not even permitted to discuss before it went on our ststute book, means that Eastern European immigrants now counted in millions, leave no room in the country for those genuinely seeking asylum and throwing themselves on the mercy of HM Government.
The current rash of sleaze in the matter of Labour Party funding will almost certainly lead to a call for funding from taxes. Then even if you don't support Labour, Conservative or Lib-Dem policies you will have to pay for them. There must be more important things to do with taxes than pay off the Conservatives £18 Million deficit or Labour's £27 Million deficit - employ a few more nurses, for example. Already opinion polls show that the British people are disillusioned with the three largest parties, and support could plummet if we are forced to support them through taxation. Let those who support a parfty pay for it, not those who don't, and wouldn't even if they were millionaires.
New rules would make it harder for smaller parties such as UKIP and the Greens to raise funds, because only parties with at least two Westminster MPs could claim funding. so it will make it very difficult for new parties. No wonder the big three want this! If the same rules had applied in 1900 the Labour Party would never have existed.
UKIP lives within its means, and in spite of the best efforts of the Electoral Commission has no debts, relying on donations from its supporters.
